Moving to Web 2.0 is just the beginning of the evolution of the Internet, more exciting changes and challenges are ahead in cyberspace. Recognizing that fact, your La Grange Park Public Library is looking to keep pace with the evolution by renovating and enhancing its website to better serve our patrons.

The Board of Library Trustees of the La Grange Park Public Library District has adopted the following Vision and Mission statements, which guide the selection of materials and the development of library services.

Persons of all ages living in the Village of La Grange Park will have access to:

Evolving technologies and traditional resources encouraging their personal and professional development,

Materials promoting "recreation of the mind" supporting their quality of life;

Community information and opportunities for social interaction enriching community spirit and support civic participation.

MISSION STATEMENT

The La Grange Park Public Library District:

Supports lifelong learning through materials and services,

Offers current materials and a variety of activities reflecting popular culture and trends,

Provides public space for meeting and gatherings.
