We are approaching the one year anniversary of 9/11, several towns, churches and organizations wil be holding special events to commemorate the attacks on America. Most area churches will be holding vigils, with many churches opening their doors, for
people to stop in and pray, please contact individual churches for more information. Nazareth Academy will host a remembrance ceremony at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, outdoors on the campus grounds.
The West Suburban Symphony Orchestra will join professional and amateur musicians throughout the Chicago area for a free concert
at 8 p.m. in Rockefeller Chapel at the University of Chicago, 5801 S. Ellis Avenue, for a performance of Mozart's Requiem in D Minor.
The performance is part of a global "rolling requiem" in which musicians around the world will play and sing this work throughout the
