Today is the day the La Grange Park time capsule is being opened at the Village Market at 2:00pm. The time capsule was placed fifty years old and will be replaced with a new one that will be opened 50 years from now, in 2052. In addition to the festivities, the La Grange Area Historical Society has prepared an exhibit, which features news clippings,photograhs and mannequins displaying vintage 50's apparel. It's a nostalgic and informative exhibit. Come by to view it and the contents of the 1952 time capsule, as well as enjoy free refreshments, on the second floor of the La grange Park Library. The festivities begin at 3:00pm, become a part of history!
