Run for the Roses

Have you registered yet for La Grange Park's Run for the Roses?  The 5K walk/run takes place on Saturday, May 17 starting at 8:00 a.m.  The Library has registration forms at the Reference Desk

A Rising Rock Star!

La Grange Park native and library user Kyle Andrews has 3 of his songs available on MP3.com:  "Inspirational Action Figures"; "talk to me" ; and "defective" . 

Hopefully this is the beginning of a long music career for Kyle.

There is a free registration required to listen to the songs.

Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Book Sale will be May 17 and 18 this year.  The Friends are looking for donations now through May 14.  You can bring books, magazines, records, videos, etc. to the Library anytime we're open.

FARMER'S MARKET RETURNS

The Farmer's Market is back! Sponsored by the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Farmer's Market will be in La Grange Park every Tuesday again this summer from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Like last year, it will be in the National City Bank parking lot at the corner of Kemman Avenue and 31st Street.

The Farmers Market will begin May 13 and continue through October 28.
