The Board of Library Trustees of the La Grange Park Public Library District strongly believes in the open and transparent conduct of Library business and the public’s right to have access to full and complete information about their Library.

The La Grange Park Public Library District is a unit of local government incorporated and organized under the laws of the State of Illinois for the purpose of providing its residents with public library service. It provides materials and services for the informational, cultural, recreational, social, and educational needs of the community’s residents.

 The La Grange Park Public Library District has certain functional sub-divisions which are shown on the LPPL Organization Chart. The operating budget for FY 2013-14 is approximately $1,577,000. The Library District’s sole office is located at 555 N. La Grange Road in La Grange Park. The Library District currently employs 10 full-time and 16 part-time employees.
