WHO ARE THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY?

People who are interested in supporting the Library by becoming members.

WHAT DO MEMBERS DO?

Members provide financial support to the Library through their yearly membership dues and give physical support by attending monthly meetings and staffing our bookshop, which is stocked with donated material, such as books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, and tapes

WHAT HAVE THE FRIENDS PROVIDED FOR THE LIBRARY?

Adult and children's programming, especially the Children's Summer Reading Program. Funds for the Young Adult Department, Sculptural tree for the Children's Department, computers, shelving, storage equipment and many items not covered by the Library's operating budget.

WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE FRIENDS MEETINGS?

Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm and held in the Conference Room on the upper level of the Library.
