EBSCO Host, Magazines and Newspapers 
Includes MasterFile Elite, Newspaper Source and Computer Source databases. Designed specifically for public libraries, MasterFile Elite provides full text for more than 1,050 general reference publications with coverage dating as far back as 1984. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Elite also includes 53 full text reference books and an Image Collection of 235,186 photos, maps and flags. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.
Newspaper Source provides selected full text for 25 national (U.S.) and international newspapers. The database also contains full text television & radio news transcripts, and selected full text for more than 260 regional (U.S.) newspapers. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.
Computer Source provides researchers with the latest information and current trends in high technology. This database offers full text for nearly 300 publications and indexing and abstracts for nearly 450 publications.

FirstSearch, from OCLC, Inc., provides library staff and end users access to a full collection of reference databases. With FirstSearch, materials in your library's collection are highlighted in search results from an abundance of leading databases.
The Illinois State Library continues its 15th year of support to FirstSearch access for all ILLINET member libraries, which includes the Prospect Heights Public Library.
