Books Alive! Book Club
In January, we will be discussing Properties of Thirst by Marianne Wiggins. This historical fiction centers on a California rancher and his family on the brink of WWII. When a Japanese internment camp is built right alongside their property, the family must protect themselves and the land they love, while coming to terms with a changing political and ideological landscape.
Registration required. Copies will be available at the Circulation Desk one month before meeting.
Please note that this program will take place at our temporary location at 21 N. Catherine Ave., La Grange, IL, 60525.
