Legends at Light Speed Book Club

This month, we will be reading Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler, which is a classic post-apocalyptic novel about a woman who can feel the emotions of others — particularly pain. She lives in California after the U.S. has been divided by a number of social and economic issues and the world is full of strife and while others might have some hope that things will improve, she does not believe that is possible.

Copies will be available to pick up on the shelves just past the Circulation Desk as well as eBook and eAudiobooks from Libby and Hoopla
