Chicago’s Murderous Mobsters, Midway Monsters, and Windy City Oddities by Laura Enright

Far from a toddling town, Chicago has always been a charging town, meeting challenges head-on, losing big, and winning bigger. Laura Enright will discuss many fascinating tales, legends, and lives featured in her book Chicago’s Most Wanted: The Top Ten Book of Murderous Mobsters, Midway Monsters, and Windy City Oddities.

Laura Enright was born in Chicago and grew up in the neighboring village of Harwood Heights. She is the author of Vampire’s Most Wanted: The Top Ten Book of Blood Thirsty Biters, Stake Wielding Slayers, and Other Undead Oddities, as well as To Touch the Sun, and Ujaali: Books One and Two in the Chicago Vampire Series. Recently, she released The Meet the Parents Story: The True and Terrible Tale of How a Little Independent Film Spawned a Billion-Dollar Franchise and her dragon fantasy novel Court of the Five Tribes. While she likes to tackle a variety of subjects, Chicago remains a favorite, and she has great fun sharing the great city’s stories.
