Legends at Lightspeed Book Club

This month, for the first meeting of our Sci-Fi and Fantasy book club, we will be reading All Systems Red by Martha Wells, book 1 in the Murderbot Diaries series which inspired the Murderbot series on AppleTV. This short sci-fi book is set in a high-tech future, in which our protagonist is a Company-supplied ‘droid tasked with keeping human scientists safe on their mission. It, however, just wants to be left alone to watch TV and figure out who it is, now that it’s secretly hacked its governor module.
