Short ‘n’ Sweet Book Club

Want to join a book club but don’t have time to read the books? Do you enjoy short stories and desserts? Either way, the Short ‘n’ Sweet Book Club is the place for you. Every month we’ll be discussing a classic short story while enjoying a tasty treat inspired by the text.

September’s Short: The Wicker Husband by Ursula Wills-Jones – originally published on the author’s personal blog in 2008, and to be adapted to a major motion picture this October, The Wicker Husband is a fairytale style short story where a lonely woman pays the local basket maker to weave her a husband . . . absurdity ensues.

September’s Sweet: Berry Shortcake Baskets – classic buttery shortcakes filled with berries and cream.
