Short ‘n’ Sweet Book Club

Want to join a book club but don’t have time to read the books? Do you enjoy short stories and desserts? Either way, the Short ‘n’ Sweet Book Club is the place for you. Every month we’ll be discussing a classic short story while enjoying a tasty treat inspired by the text.

November’s Short: Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been? by Joyce Carol Oates (1967) – a dark twist on a coming-of-age tale, partly inspired by Bob Dylan’s “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue”.

November’s Sweet: Pumpkin Honey Bun Cake – made fluffy with puréed pumpkin, flavored with autumn spices, and iced with honey frosting.
